What you’ll be doing

This role will see you working within the team helping to deliver major capital works projects helping to deliver a cleaner London such as the ULEZ scheme. As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll manage the commercial resources of the assigned project and provide commercial expertise to contracts including valuation submissions, budgets, subcontract management, change control and work stream performance data.

In short you will

• Be involved with subcontract procurement and package management
• Run contract administration both with the Project Manager and with the supply chain
• Support MQS in producing value cost reconciliation reports
• Agree applications for payment and processing payments
• Produce and maintain risk registers
• Raise and respond to Early Warning Notices & Compensation Events and closing these out through agreement

A bit about you

On offer is a challenging and rewarding role for someone who can demonstrate core technical acumen and has experience around highways and public realm.

• Degree qualified (ideally chartered) with surveying experience within the utilities industry and NEC3 framework experience with a solid understanding of the Alliance Contract delivery.
• Strong commercial awareness, with understanding of budgeting, cost control, risk mitigation and business targets and reporting requirements.
• Ability to work within a team and ensure business commercial requirements are delivered at both project and business unit level
