We’re seeking an Asset Operations Officer to support the safe and efficient operation of transport and highway assets across London. You’ll coordinate day-to-day maintenance, manage contractors, and ensure assets are compliant, reliable, and customer-focused.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver daily operational and maintenance activities across your assigned region.
Manage supplier performance and ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
Respond to incidents and emergencies to keep the network safe and open.
Build strong relationships with contractors, local authorities, and stakeholders.
Support asset management projects and contribute to performance improvements.
Background in highways, transport, or asset management.
Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and asset management principles.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Experience using maintenance or asset systems (e.g., NAMS, SFM).
Full UK driving licence.
