Your new role

Due to continued growth within the Rainwater Management team, they are now seeking two Technical Leads to support the delivery of sustainable drainage and rainwater management solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects.

You will be responsible for leading and supporting the design of SuDS and Nature-Based Solutions, helping to deliver innovative, affordable and environmentally responsible outcomes that contribute to the wider Natural Capital approach.

You will:

  • Provide design and technical support for rainwater management projects across the region

  • Lead a portfolio of low-complexity projects from design through to delivery

  • Develop and implement SuDS and NBS features such as swales, raingardens, wetlands, tree pits, ponds and basins

  • Champion new design ideas and innovation in green-blue infrastructure

  • Collaborate with technical specialists across drainage, hydrology, ecology and civil engineering disciplines

  • Prepare design drawings, reports and technical documentation to support project approvals and delivery

About you

You’ll be a passionate and technically capable individual with a strong understanding of sustainable water management and drainage design.

This role would suit someone who has:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in an environmental or technical discipline

  • Proven experience in delivering design or technical support within the water or environmental sector

  • Knowledge of SuDS, Nature-Based Solutions, drainage and flood risk management

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across teams and partners

  • A drive to innovate and deliver efficient, sustainable design solutions
