Reporting to the Senior Project Manager you will assist in the day-today management and delivery of a multi-million-pound project. The project involves reconfiguring a two-lane highway into a single lane, along with enhancements to the public space along a road spanning approximately 1.2 kilometers. This project is divided into multiple sections, with the initial section currently undergoing construction on-site, while the rest of the sections are in the RIBA Stage 4 phase

The role

In short you may be expected to

  • Implement and manage workshops across all stakeholders involved.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Conduct research, design, and assess the expenses and worth of different choices and solutions for recognized issues.
  • To manage personal tasks and coordinate with other project members to meet established objectives in collaboration with project management
  • Support the SPM and SSE with day-to-day operations

 

About you

You will be joining a close knit, hardworking team who are excellent at what they do, and you will need to be comfortable working in a team environment and have finely tuned multi-tasking skills.

Some essentials included below:

  • Collaborative skills to assist the SMP on a regular basis and SSE as required.
  • Engineering qualification or equivalent
  • Proven highways experience utilising project management skills  
  • Knowledgeable with H&S legislation and contracts.
  • Attend meetings and report back to the SPM findings/updates/guidance.
  • Support the SPM with the design phase, approval processes and the delivery on site to the timeframe and budget working alongside the external stakeholders.
