The role

We are seeking a Senior Parking Consultant to join the design team to drive the development efforts. You'll become part of a lively and seasoned team that has achieved success in delivering a multitude of projects.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate

  • Knowledge and expertise in designing and executing traffic and parking schemes in accordance with regulations and legislation.
  • Ensure project paper will is compliant with quality assurance system and making the appropriate amendments when necessary.
  • Engage with stakeholders ensuring all paperwork is accessible and up to date to providing regular updates.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members to ensure smooth implementation and quality assurance is being met.
  • Actively involved with team, stakeholders and clients to answer all questions and respond and action accordingly.

The ideal candidate will tick the below

  • Strong project management skills to deliver within budget and time and by providing solutions by continually analysing risk and opportunities.
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Comprehensive understanding and application of of highways and traffic engineering techniques.
  • Effective communicator to engage and regularly update stakeholders such as the community, public and local stakeholders affected.
  • Highly experienced using AutoCAD or similar design software.
  • Experience with utilizing Traffic Sign Regulations and Traffic Signs Manuals.
