What you’ll be doing 

Working within their growing UK Highways Sector team and working closely with the Senior Director and the Senior Management team, the role will combine leadership with technical responsibility. This role presents a unique opportunity to influence and shape the future of the highways sector whilst growing in the business

In short you will be involved in

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams of Engineers, Technicians, and external suppliers to deliver high quality output on projects
• Engage with existing and new clients from enquiry to tender and delivery
• Assist the Sector Director in business development initiatives, achieving our business plan, and growing our clients base and project portfolio
• Oversee management of project deliverables, site surveys, construction stage duties, client liaison with members of design / construction teams, costing and ensure progress against the project brief

A bit about you

You’d be a great fit for this role if you are:

• Self-driven experienced professional, excited to participate in growing highways sector
• A Chartered Engineer with experience managing medium-size projects and/or managing delivery of design packages on large projects
• A strong track record on highway projects working contractors and/or end clients on large highway schemes
• Outstanding design, technical detailing, report, and specification writing experience
