Highways Asset Inspectors
On behalf of a leading integrated highways service provider, we are looking to recruiting for several Highways Asset Inspectors.
This is a 3 month contract role based in South London paying £160 per day via umbrella with a bonus paid out after completion.
This is a great entry level role.
The role
- Conduct regular driven inspections of road signs and street furniture across designated areas in London.
- Identify and document any missing street signs and record any damage, vandalism, or deterioration.
- Assess the need for repairs, replacements, or upgrades to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of inspection findings.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritise repairs.
- Monitor and report on the progress of repair works.
- Liaise with relevant authorities and stakeholders to address specific issues
About you
Alongside a willingness to join the team and get stuck in, the successful Highways Inspector will need to embody the company’s core values of cooperation and partnership.
Furthermore, you should have:
- Clean Drivers licence
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify signs of damage or wear.
- Excellent organisational and recordkeeping skills.
- Proficient in using technology for data entry and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
