Your new role

Working within the Projects & Capital Delivery team you will manage the delivery of design and build services in a manner that delivers the end-to-end activities of forward programming, ECI, development of feasibility & detailed design options, construction and close out processes efficiently to achieve customer outcomes.

In short you will

  • Deliver works packages issued through the Projects team, ensuring the required quality of product delivered on the ground is achieved
  • Prepare Works programmes and Construction Phase Plans for acceptance
  • Develop, implement & monitor processes and procedures that achieve client and business key performance indicators
  • Adhere to corporate processes, policies and procedures ensuring a consistent approach to delivery is always achieved.

A bit about you

This role would suit an individual who is commercially and contractually aware, who has a knowledge of construction industry technical matters and has working knowledge of effective project management concepts, tools, and techniques.  You should:

  • Be degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline, project management or surveying
  • Have experience in the NEC Contract Administration or Project Management of engineering design and construction projects
  • Have a track record in innovation and best practise
  • A highway or infrastructure construction background
