Owing to a healthy pipeline of exciting highway drainage, flood alleviation and SuDS projects, they are now looking for a civil engineer in the water sector to assist with project delivery and management ensuring new commissions are delivered to the highest possible standard in Hertfordshire.
In short you will
Attend site visits in Hertfordshire to eliminate flooding applications and the provide solutions through revaluation and thorough planning.
Find SuDS and Drainage solutions that may impact highway infrastructure and propose findings to stakeholders.
Identify the sites that require further attention and development for survey works.
Consider areas where the intervention of hydraulic modelling and the production of detailed designs are not necessary by offering a quick win response.
We are seeking an a professional who is experienced in being able to identify flooding and provide solutions by looking at opportunities and constraints.
You should demonstrate:
Communicate effectively with contractors to deliver schemes on time and within budget.
Regularly attend meetings and respond with stakeholders to engage updates and any upcoming.
Experienced in Highways SuDS and Drainage from the proposal through to the implementation.
The ability to integrate into a team and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
Ability to lead and manage other people.
